We’ll explore

  • The deliciously comfortable poses of restorative yoga where you drop into a deeply relaxed state.

  • The best ways to nap using yoga techniques that won’t affect your sleep

  • Simple micro-practices to manage tiredness through the day.

  • Relaxing breathing and movement to ease muscular tension from stress.

  • Journalling practices to ask ourselves if were doing too much, wearing ourselves out.

Restorative Yoga and Somatic practices to shift from stressed and fatigued to calm and replenished:

Somatic Movement is the internal experience of how movement feels rather than the external appearance of poses. In this workshop you’ll discover easy to do movements that help you to tune into where your body is feeling tension or tiredness.

Restorative yoga is the use of props to place the body in positions of delicious comfort and ease to promote deep relaxation and well-being. We spend time in these comfortable positions to drop into a deeply relaxed state.

You’ll discover how easy it is to allow yourself to rest when you’re comfortably set up with blankets, cushions and bolsters.

Restorative yoga takes you from an activated state of your nervous system, into a relaxed, restful state, slowing brain waves down into the sort of patterns we see in deep sleep.

We’ll finish with tea and cookies to reflect and chat about your experiences of deep rest and recovery!
