Bookings Process

Classes, Workshops & Courses

  • All Students must book their place via the booking system on the website at www.daleenyoga.uk/book

  • Bookings via other methods such as email or texting will not be accepted and you’ll be directed to the booking system.

  • You are required to book online classes least 3 hours before the class start time and in person classes 1 hour before the start time.

  • This applies to both singly purchased classes, seasonal blocks of classes and classes bought as part of a pack.

  • Workshops and Courses have a booking ‘close by’ date and time, depending on the resources and prep pack that need to be sent before signing up.

  • Drop Ins (arriving without a booking and paying on arrival) are not accepted to any classes.

  • If you’re a new student, please make contact by email 3 hours before the class you plan to attend.

Private & Corporate Bookings

  • Private Sessions and Corporate Bookings are booked via email, or private link unless you are booking into your initial session or particular package which can be booked directly on the website.

Cancellation Policy

Classes

  • If you can no longer attend a class you are required to cancel your booking via email to daleen@daleen.yoga.

  • If you do not cancel and ‘no show’ on a persistent basis, an additional £5 charge per session will be added to your future bookings.

Workshops & Courses

  • Cash refunds for purchases of Workshops, Courses & Events are not available. These events are for set dates and times, and you are not entitled to a refund in accordance with your statutory rights. You will be made aware of this policy prior to purchase by opting in and agreeing to these Terms at point of purchase, and in your confirmation email. 

  • If you are unable to attend, you are still required to cancel your space via email.

Private 1:1 & Corporate Classes, Events and Seminars

  • Private and corporate sessions need to be cancelled at least 48 hours before the appointment time.

  • A written cancellation via email to Daleen Yoga is required when a private or corporate session is is cancelled.

  • If a cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notice, no refund will be issued.

Cancellations by Daleen Yoga (including Force Majeure, Sickness)

  • Daleen Yoga reserves the right to cancel a class, workshop, course, private or corporate session for any reason including but not limited to Force Majeure or Teacher Sickness.

  • Booked students will be contacted as soon as possible via email and/or phone.

  • In the situation of an in person class venue becoming unavailable due to circumstances out of Daleen Yoga’s control, the following procedure will be followed:

    • If an alternative venue can be found; the class will be moved to the new location.

    • If an alternative venue isn’t available or viable to be sourced in the available time frame, Daleen Yoga will change the class to an online class.

    • Students who do not wish to take up the alternative will be treated as per the reimbursement policy below.

  • If a class is unable to go ahead, reimbursement as follows:

    • An extra gratitude class at the end of the current seasonal block, or

    • Students may attend a class on another day for the week, within the time frame of the Seasonal Block of Classes, or

    • A credit to the value of one class may be offered on the following seasonal block of classes.

Payment Terms

  • Classes, Seasonal Block of Classes, Workshops & Courses are paid in full via the Booking System at the point of purchase.

  • Payment Plans are discretionary and agreed with Daleen Yoga.

  • Daleen Yoga is a cashless business, therefore cash is not accepted as payment for services.

  • Private 1:1 Classes & Corporate Bookings will pay via an invoice which is due for settlement within 48 hours of making the booking to secure the booking.

  • If payment hasn’t been received by 48 hours before the booked service commences the service will automatically be cancelled and not fulfilled.

Lateness & Class Times

  • All classes start and finish at the advertised time.

  • Lateness is defined as ‘arriving at or after the designated class time’.

  • Students are expected to arrive at least 5 - 10 minutes before the class start time, so that the class can start and finish at the advertised time.

  • New students attending their first class are required to arrive 10 minutes before the class time to allow time to ask questions and get comfortable.

  • For in person classes, no one will be at reception to answer the doors once the class has started.

  • If you arrive at or after the designated class start time, you may not be able to join class and will not be entitled to a refund.

Class Packs

  • Class Packs are only available for new students and are valid for 3 weeks.

  • All Class pack must be used within the time frame of the current block of classes

Seasonal Blocks of Classes

  • A Block of Seasonal Classes may only be joined after booking and paying in full.

  • Only new students may attend a single trial class before joining a seasonal block of classes by prior arrangement with Daleen.

  • 2 Classes within a Seasonal block may be swapped for a class on another day, as long as the classes swapped fall within the time frame of the same seasonal block.

  • If swapping a class, the teacher Daleen needs to be notified 1 hour before the class by email.

  • Refunds are not issued after booking a seasonal block of classes.

  • In cases of severe illness or injury, a credit to a future seasonal block may be offered but will need to be by arrangement with Daleen.

Class Conduct

  • Students must treat other students with respect and courtesy - being mindful of those who want silence and quiet, keeping disruption to a minimum, arriving in a timely manner and speaking to other students how they wish to be spoken to themselves. This includes cancelling bookings so others can take your place. 

  • Students must treat teachers with respect and courtesy - being respectful of the teacher's knowledge and expertise, refusing adjustments if they are not wanted, arriving in a timely manner and keeping disruption to a minimum, speaking to teachers how they wish to be spoken to themselves .

  • Teachers will always treat students in a professional, respectful manner with courtesy - starting & finishing classes on time, respecting student wishes regarding adjustments, facilitating safety in the class space, ensuring class rules are followed and dealing with students in a professional, polite and friendly manner.

Complaints Procedure

I take complaints seriously at Daleen Yoga and pride myself on providing a safe, secure environment for all students and clients to thrive in and aim to put you at the heart of everything we work on together.
