Why I teach Seasonal Blocks of Classes

If you’re interested in signing up for a block of seasonal classes but wondering how they work , here’s an explanation of the many benefits and answers to any questions you might have.

Top reasons to join a Seasonal Block of classes:

  1. Classes are custom designed for every person who joins. When you sign up, I’ll know your experience, and relevant any injuries or health conditions, so classes are designed to be fully inclusive because of this.

  2. There’s a sense of community, as you practice with the same group through the season.

  3. It’s easier to show up if you’ve paid and committed in advance.

  4. It’s less stop-start, so you’ll see consistent development and progress through the season.

  5. You’ll feel so much better for practicing consistently over time period of the block!

  6. It allows a deeper dive into the layers of yoga.

  7. I can offer great value per class within this system.

Booking, Pricing and deciding which class is best for you:

  • Bookings open 2-3 weeks before a block starts: I send an email as soon as the bookings are open.

  • Bookings must be made before the block starts, unless you’re a new student who joins partway through a block.

  • If you’re not sure which class is best for you, read here

  • Once you’ve booked into a season, there’s no need to book into each class and you’ll get a reminder of each class a day or so before.

  • In appreciation of your commitment, classes are great value in comparison to ‘drop in’ single class rates.

  • There is one bursary / ‘work trade’ place each season so if finances are an issue, please come forward and email me if this is you!!

New to Daleen Yoga?

  • Seasonal blocks can be joined part way through if you’re a new student. Please contact me with your enquiry here and I’ll get in touch as soon as I can to discuss the best class for you and to send you a private booking link.

If you’ve attended classes before:

  • A seasonal block of classes may only be joined after signing up for the whole block.

  • If you cant make the commitment to a block of classes, a limited number of single classes are made available if there are spaces after the block bookings have been made.

Questions you might have:

What if I cant make a class because I’m ill, something unexpected comes up?

  • You can ‘make up’ classes by attending a class on the other day, as long as its within the same seasonal period. Both classes are fully accessible to all levels. Classes can be swapped up to a maximum of 2 times within a block.

  • Some classes are live-streamed and recorded on zoom so you can attend the missed class online in your own time.

  • Some classes are live-streamed and recorded, you can attend wherever you are! this way you can keep attending and practicing consistently.

  • Classes are not pro-rated based on absences.

  • Refunds are not issued once you have made your booking.

I’m concerned that I might miss one or two classes:

  • Why would you miss the whole seasonal block just because you’re going to miss one or two? Blocks of classes are still great value per class even if you miss a class or two.

I just can’t commit to a block of classes at this point?

  • A limited number of single classes are made available if there are spaces after the block bookings have been made.
